Mr. Amaral has over Twenty years of experience in plumbing and HVAC mechanical systems. As Principal of Thompson & Youngross Engineering Consultants, he is responsible for marketing, engineering production and to oversee the Mechanical design documents and coordinate all work in the office. He continues to perform site investigations, meet with clients and design Mechanical systems.

As either a designer or Engineer of record, Mr. Amaral is responsible for the offices design of plumbing. HVAC mechanical systems and fire protection for commercial and residential buildings. The projects include schools, multi-use buildings, special-care facilities, medical/dentist offices, restaurants, hotels and office/retail spaces, fire stations, and several LEED projects. Other responsibilities include; Coordination of projects with clients, site investigation of existing as-built conditions.
